Kay Page Hauffe's Obituary
Kay Page Hauffe passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the age of 80 She was born on January 6, 1941 in New Orleans, LA to the late Milton George Page and Mildred Hatton Page.
Kay was the beloved wife of Henry William Hauffe for 40 years. She was the loving mother of Yvette Galliano Scheppegrell, Kerry L. Hauffe, Bonny G. Kennedy, Amy G. Dozier, the late Andrea G. Calkins, Daryl P. Galliano, and Tammy P. Austin. Kay was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Gail Page Fortenberry.
Kay led a very full life raising a family, playing tennis, and operating her interior decorating business. She became a world traveler when she lived in Saudi Arabia. She operated a travel Agency and led numerous women’s groups to exciting places. Upon returning home, she was an avid RV’r and Wagonmaster for the Travel Supreme Owners Association.
