I have fond memories of Aunt Katie especially when I was a little girl. Aunt Katie was always so full of love and a beautiful smile. Aunt Katie was the first person to teach me to play checkers and taught me to cook a family favorite - broccoli pasta. I will miss her dearly.
My Beautiful Aunt Katie,
I was truly blessed because you were my Aunt and my Godmother. Your love, faith and beauty were gifts you shared so freely with me. I will always cherish our time together. You touched the lives of so many and no one could ever forget you. You were One of a Kind. My beautiful Aunt Kaite. I will miss you.
Linda
My dear Uncle Raymond, Aunt Vivian, Uncle Arthur and all of my cousins, I am deeply saddened by the passing of our beautiful, sweet Aunt Katie. What a beautiful soul! One of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever known, she will be greatly missed. My tears are more intense because I won't be able to attend the services. I am hosting a 16 team volleyball tournament tomorrow at my school which will be impossible for me to leave. Please accept my apologies for not being there physically, but be assured that I will be there with all of you in spirit. Joey, your mother was a great lady and Rick, David and Danny your grandmother was extraordinarily special and I know how much you hurt at her passing. Remember the good times and the fact that she will always be in our hearts. I love and miss you all and my heart and soul will be there tomorrow even though my body can't be.
Dear Joey,
I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved mother. Katie will always be remembered as a very sweet and pretty little doll.
My condolences.
Aunt Katie
No matter what years had passed, She still looked and sounded the girl when she laughed.
That gorgeous, unblemished skin, Her dark curls lightening to gray Always retained that beauty For which she was celebrated and portrayed.
Perhaps it was her faith unblighted That imbued her with such innocence An innocence albeit unrequited By a life so fraught with pain...
Yet for those who knew and loved her And whom she loved--not in vain-- We'll keep in our hearts forever her memory-- A delicate, fierce, little flame.
