I am so very saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. I am also very sorry that I lost touch over the years. I often thought of her, and you, June Bug. I have such good memories that I will always cherish. I will never be able to make her recipe for chicken gumbo without picturing her standing beside me in my kitchen here in Colorado, showing me the ropes.
