Kathy Mack's Obituary
Kathy Mack (age 64), of Talisheek, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, after a long and courageous fight with illness. She faced every challenge with the same quiet strength she carried through her whole life — tough as nails, never complaining, and always pushing forward for the people she loved.
Kathy was a petite brunette with a warm laugh, a quick wit, and a stubborn streak that made her unforgettable. She loved browsing the clearance aisles, a simple joy that always brought out her playful side and became one of the family’s favorite things about her.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Mack , who stood by her side through every step of her long fight. She is also survived by her daughters, Jenny, Danielle, and Charlene, who each carry their own memories of her, and by her grandchildren, JD and Ava, who brought her joy and pride.
She leaves behind her four dogs — Shitmonkey, Bambi, Jellybean, and Dorfman — who were her constant companions and who continue to look for her with the loyalty only dogs can give.
Kathy was cremated, and no funeral service is planned. Her family will honor her privately, in the same way she lived: simply, honestly, and with love.
She fought hard. She held on for a long time. And she left this world the way she lived in it — with strength, humor, and heart. She will be very missed but never forgotten.
