Kathryn S. Matthews' Obituary
Kathryn S. Matthews a longtime resident of Abita Springs passed away at the age of 60 on Thursday, May 13, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her precious children Andrew Matthews (Jessica) and Callie Matthews; brothers Stephen Sellier, Gary Sellier (Bobby) and Mark Sellier (Denise) and long time friend Dennis Hemelt. Kathryn was predeceased by her loving husband William Matthews, brother David Sellier and mother Faye Rouchon Sellier. Kathryn will be remembered for her contagious laugh, that beaming smile and the love of her family.
The family would like to especially thank Trisha Hayes of St. Joseph Hospice for her compassion and loving care during these past months.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10 AM with a memorial mass following at 11 AM, officiated by Fr. John Talamo. The burial will be private.
