Kathleen Marchand's Obituary
Our Beloved mother and friend, Kathleen “Kathie” Marchand of Thibodaux, LA passed away on June 25, 2025 after years of battling stage 4 small cell lung cancer. She was born in Thibodaux, LA on November 3, 1956 to Howard and Olive Koscher. She lived in Covington, LA for the last 8 years to be closer to family.
Kathie had a big personality. She had an impact on each person that she encountered. She was courageous, inspirational, kind, loving, funny and a ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and persistence. She lived her life to the fullest, despite her many challenges. Her greatest joy was the love of her husband and being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Howard Marchand and his wife Crystal; her stepson, David James Marchand and his wife Mary; and granddaughter Bailey Anne Marchand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Koscher and Olive Koscher; her husband, David Earl Marchand; and her sister Barbara “Koko” Koscher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 11:00AM.
