Kevin and Kris, I have many fond memories of your mom. We graduated from CHS together and remained friends. Your mom and I would have coffee while you kids had play time. We were planning our 60 reunion and I was going to call your mom for some information on Monday. I am so sorry for your loss, she will be missed. I send you my prayers. Jan Franks
Perhaps irreverent, at a family reunion at Chuck and Sherry's house Kate and I were sitting away from everybody else. We were on the slight hill behind the pool. Kate and I were both smoking a cigarette. Aunt Kathy came walking over and sat down asking, you got another one? She lit up and exhaled and said something about it being good. She sat and smoked one or two more and then said "oh god, here she comes...I'll get a lecture about smoking". It struck me as pretty funny at the time. A daughter catching her mother smoking. She was a truly wonderful person although Louise and her thought the penguin joke was hilarious.
Kris and Kevin and family , I am sorry for your mother's loss. She was my friend and my neighbor till she moved down there with her daughter. I enjoyed her very much I am sorry I couldn't say goodbye. However let us know the date for the memorial and Holly in September and I'll try to be there. Louise Hanifan & Pat Arvoy God bless.
