Karley Allison Draper's Obituary
Karley Allison Draper, 20, passed away at her home on February 11, 2026. Born November 23, 2005, Karley’s life was marked by kindness, courage, and a heart that always put others first.
She was the beloved daughter of Steven Leigh Draper and Dawn Henderson Draper of Madisonville and the cherished sister of Ellie Leigh Draper. She is also survived by her grandparents, Alfred “Zukie” Henderson and Mary Robin Henderson; her beloved Nanny, Allison Henderson; and her aunt, Shelly Draper Smith (Mark). She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joan Feuerstein Draper and Charles Leigh Draper.
Karley was a sweet and compassionate young woman who was deeply loved by all who knew her. Even while facing her own challenges, she remained thoughtful of others and brought light to those around her. She loved the color purple and surrounded herself with it whenever she could. She had a special love for animals, especially dolphins and dogs. Some of her happiest moments were spent with family, watching movies, laughing, and simply being together.
She had a generous spirit and found joy in giving back. Karley was always excited to volunteer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, eagerly helping round up votes for nursing awards and supporting the very place that had once cared for her. She loved to travel and embraced every gift shop from Los Angeles to New York, and even abroad to Paris and Belgium collecting memories and experiences along the way.
Karley enjoyed creating art including drawing, painting ceramics and puzzles.
Karley also treasured her time at Camp Tiger Paw in Covington and Camp Make-A-Dream in Missoula, Montana, where she created memories that meant so much to her.
She attended Archbishop Hannah High School as a member of the GRACE Program, which she truly enjoyed being part of. Her family is grateful to the student body and faculty for the kindness and friendship they showed her.
Karley was first a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis and later became one of its strongest supporters. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff and friends there for their unwavering love and care. Karley considered them dear friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the Karley Draper Memorial Fund, honoring her legacy of hope, generosity, and compassion. https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?px=8942543&fr_id=154020&pg=personal
