Karen Louise Froeba's Obituary
Karen Louise Froeba, 72, of Mandeville, LA passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018. She was born on February 8, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late Edward T. Froeba and the late Mary Kenny Froeba.
Karen is survived by her her brother-in-law Joseph Andrew Schiro, Sr. and her niece and nephews Joseph “Drew” Schiro, Jr. (Stephanie), Andrea Schiro Bouché (René), and Edward Schiro (Annette). She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews Dominic Schiro, Joshua Schiro, Brianna Schiro, Jacqueś Bouché, Kathryn Bouché, Racquel Bouché, Jean-Luc Bouché, Noah Bouché, Lauren Schiro, and Zachary Schiro.
Karen is preceded in death by her sister Marilyn Froeba Schiro.
Karen grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. After graduation, she attended beauty school and became a hair dresser and cosmetologist. Karen had a successful career as the business owner of Lakeview Salon of Beauty for 35 years. She later retired from J.C. Penney Beauty Salon after 14 years. She was an animal advocate and will be dearly missed by her cat Honey Bear. Karen was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in New Orleans.
