Karen Maria Eaton Bartet-Sims' Obituary
Karen Maria Bartet-Sims passed away on December 25, 2017 at her home in Folsom, LA. She was born on August 19, 1956 in New Orleans, LA to the late George L. Eaton and Lucille Comer Johnson.
Karen was married to her beloved husband, William Franklin Sims, for 25 years. She was the loving mother of Courtney Beatty (Russell) and Raymond Bartet. Karen was the proud grandmother of Chanté Bartet, Russell Beatty Jr., Brice Beatty, and Jordan Beatty. She was the sister of Katherine E. Sims (Robert), Kathleen Eaton, George Eaton, and Kevin Eaton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
