Julie Ann English's Obituary
Julie Ann English (Cerna) took her leave peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was 73. She was a native of St Louis, MO and was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA before moving to the Tickfaw, LA. A seamstress by trade from homemade clothes for her grandbabies to carnival time as well as a business owner to many of her other passions in life. There was nothing she could not do.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. English and Rose M. Pena English, and her sister, Darlene English Mims.
She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Rose Diamond (Shannon Diamond), Althea Lacey Sellers (Darrell Sellers), and Tarae Christine Roper; her grandchildren Sadie E. Burkett (Michael Burkett), Kristian A. Di Girolamo (Steven Di Girolamo), Jose G Cerna (Alex Cerna), Miguel M. Cerna, Shannon E. Diamond, Sebastian C. Diamond; her great-grandchildren, Michaela B, Bailey B., Peyton B., Kyndal JC., Braelynn C., Lucus C. , Layliani D.; her brother Ricky English (Rowena Hogan) and a host of nieces and nephews.
We want to welcome everyone who knew her and loved her to please come and share in this celebration of her life. We would love if you have a picture of her that you love bring it with you and we will set it with the others.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until service time.
