Julianne Pott Derbes' Obituary
Julianne Pott Derbes passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. She was born in Independence, MO on December 11, 1948.
She is survived by her loving children, Alexander Benjamin “Ben” Derbes (Kelly), Zachary John Derbes (Rosanna) and Christina “Casey” Claire Derbes Farlow (Jake); her grandchildren, Mica T. Derbes, Max Benjamin Derbes and Mazie Moon Farlow. She is also survived by her siblings, Andrew Thomas Pott and Christine Pott Larson and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxime “Max” Joseph Derbes III; her parents Alice Gossman Pott and John Henry Pott, Sr.; and her brother, John Henry Pott, Jr.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She had a great love for her family and enthusiasm for life. She was known for her delicious cooking and her gift for entertaining.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by all of her caregivers over the years especially Mae Perilloux, the Fidelis House and Passages Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
