Julian Benito Rivera's Obituary
Julian Benito Rivera passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Felisa Carvajal Rivera; loving father of Bennett Seth Rivera, Ingrid Lynn Rivera and Craig Seth Rivera (Jennifer); grandfather of Seth Joseph Rivera; brother to Juan Jose Rivera and Maria Rosario Rivera; and half-brother to Agapito Rivera. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dionisia Benito Rivera; and his father, Protasio Rivera.
Age 73 years, he was a native of San Luis Potosi, Mexico and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 49 years. He was a retired Marine Service Engineer.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA 70448 on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
A wake will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Visitation AT THE CHURCH will resume at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Interment will follow at the Mandeville Cemetery.
