Jules Francis Richard III's Obituary
Born in New Orleans, LA on February 25, 1945, Jules Francis Richard III passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
Jules loved many things, particularly family trips, doubloons, comic books, classic science fiction, and stamp collecting. He loved to laugh, chocolate/cherry snowballs, and expounding on any era of history.
He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1966 and continued on to earn a Master's degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation he was commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant. After his service, he returned to New Orleans to become a practicing CPA. During this time, he was also active in many organizations such as the Jaycees, Kiwanis and the Society of Louisiana CPAs. He retired after nearly 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jules Francis Richard Jr., and Emily Ruth Richard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Paulette Cazaubon Richard; his children, Adrienne Fujiwara, Jules F. Richard IV, Paul Richard, and Andree Grant; his grandchildren, Kathryn Fujiwara, Karlo Fujiwara, Matthew Grant, Jules F. Richard V, and Phoebe Richard. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Martin (Phil).
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
