Judy Marie Laurendine's Obituary
Judy Marie Laurendine passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. She was born April 29, 1952 in New Orleans to the late William Waller and Rose Claire Travis Laurendine and has been a resident of Hammond since 2002. She lived in Covington for 10 years where she developed a private practice as a Clinical Social Worker servicing abused and neglected children. She ended her career as a professor of Social Work at Southeastern University from 1998-2005.
Judy is survived by her devoted family: Celeste Skinner, Rowland and Charles Skinner and Jessica Flick; one brother, Thomas T. Laurendine; three sisters: Joan L. Scanlan, Ginger L. Knower, Cindy Rose Arceneaux; her granddaughter, Madeline E. Harper; Billy Laurendine and a multitude of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Sunday, September 21, 2008 FROM 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
