Mrs. Merren will always be, in my mind, the picture of beauty, gentleness and kindness. There was never a day she did not welcome me in her home without the warmest and sweetest hospitality. I love how she pronounced my name. I can still hear that beautiful way she rolled her "R's" when she said it. I also love how she always asked about my mother. I really appreciated that. Mrs. Merren certainly impacted my life for the better. May she rest in peace.
