Joycelyn Nusbaum Mayeux's Obituary
Joycelyn Nusbaum Mayeux passed Away peacefully in the presence of her daughter, at Restoration Senior Living Center – April 23rd, 2020, in Covington, La. at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton T. Mayeux, proceeded in death by her parents, Alvin and Marie-Louise Nusbaum and her sister, Shirley M. Nusbaum. She was survived by her Daughter, Cindy M. Elfert, (Charles), grandchildren Maria Marino Senette (Chris), Kevin Marino, Jr. (Amanda), & Alex Marino. Five great-grandchildren, Mason, Emry, Leah, Vince & Isabella.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass at St. Benedicts Church, 20370 Smith Rd., Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday August 15th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Joseph Abbey or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Tammany Humane Society.
