Ninety years young, she was still sharp, vivacious, curious, and loving.
Joyce always put her family first. Family meant the world to her. Happiness was being surrounded by family, friends, good food & laughter.
She was always available for all the school events, church functions, for her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Whether it was PTA, Booster Club, Altar Society, Friends of the Library, talent shows, plays, or numerous sporting events. This also included anything else Dad signed her up for including working with him for thirty-four years.
Her friends for life included those she just met and loved, or friends from grade school, high school, and Dads years in the Airforce. A special shout out to her Hill Country, Texas friends.
Throughout the years, Joyce headed up all the grade school and high school reunions from her old 9th Ward New Orleans Days. However, no matter what, she was a fulltime Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by Home Instead, & St. Tammany Parish Hospital Hospice.
