Joyce Elizabeth Jemison passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012.
Beloved mother of Maurice “Skip” Jemison and spouse Yvette, David G. Jemison and spouse Ann and the late John Jemison. Grandmother of Nicole Siverd, Jarred, Christine and Adrienne Jemison. Great-grandmother of Steel, Elizabeth and Walker Siverd and Cannon Jemison. Sister of Norris Gremillion (Patsy), Burton Gremillion, Jane G. Folse and her late twin Lois Gremillion.
Age 83 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 25 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Joseph Abbey.
