Joyce Branch Hutchinson, at the age of 85, entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday evening, June 17, 2023, at her daughter's home in Pearl River surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on January 28, 1938, to Eddie Branch and Mildred Ophelia Carnegie Branch.
She is survived by her adoring daughters, Kathy Lynn Marciante (Anthony) and Joy Ann Hudspeth (Wayne). Joyce was the proud grandmother of Chad Marciante (Angelle), Toni Lynn Schumert (Todd), Michael Hudspeth (Jennifer), Chris Hudspeth (Courtney) and Carson Ann Bohn; Great grandmother of Alexis Hudspeth, Alex Hudspeth, McKenzie Marciante, Annabella Marciante, Rocky Marciante, Lillian Marciante, Jax Hudspeth, Harper Hudspeth, Everleigh Hudspeth, Robert Wright, Hayden Wright, Jackson Juneau and Emma Schumert; and Great-Great grandmother of Cooper Wright and Mallory Wright. Joyce will be dearly missed by Aunt Charlene, her cousins Elvin "Cowboy" Carnegie and Janice Bickham, and her lifelong friend Maureen Bourne, and friend James Kennedy.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Hutchinson, her son, Denny Paul Stewart, and her parents, Eddie and Mildred Branch. A native and lifelong resident of Bogalusa, Joyce was an outstanding Insurance Agent for Dixie Life Insurance Company for many years.
She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Love Missionary Baptist Church. Joyce was a loving and compassionate mother, and a very caring person to all.
She enjoyed spending time with her Yorkie "Teddy". However, her true passion was watching Fox News and reruns of Mayberry RFD & making sure her yard was immaculate. Joyce was sweet and well respected and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her sense of humor and tender nature will remain in the many memories of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again in Heaven.
