Joyce Pierce DeFraites, age 80 of Abita Springs, LA died on Saturday, December 08, 2018, at her residence. Born, Sunday, February 06, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to Norman Pierce and Rhea Rabalais Pierce.
Survived by her Daughter - Crystal Younger, Son - Henry "Jerry" DeFraites, IV, Sister - Kathleen "Kathy" Volpe, Brother - Larry Pierce, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her Husband - Henry DeFraites, III, Son - Johnny V. DeFraites, Father - Norman Pierce, Mother - Rhea Rabalais Pierce, Brothers – Norman “Bud” Pierce and Randy Pierce.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 12:30 PM to service time.
Interment in The Pentecostals of Lee Road Cemetery, Covington, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pentecostals of Mandeville (POM) Children’s Ministry 625 Lotus Dr., Mandeville, LA 70471.
