Joy Ann Randazzo Johnson's Obituary
Born June 20, 1934 in Marrero, Louisiana to Salvatore and Virgie Randazzo, sister of Tony Randazzo and Janice Leblanc, died in Atlanta, Georgia on December 20, 2017, at the age of 83, after long and difficult illnesses. Educated at Dominican High School in New Orleans, she married William B. Barnett in 1952 and was mother to William, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary, Kimberly and Joseph. She married Luke T. Johnson in 1974 and was mother to Tiffany Joy. She had thirteen grandchildren: Bridget, Sarah, Rachel, Heather, Joseph, Cora, Baylor, Henry, Willa, McKenzie, James, Alexander, and Evan, and eight great-grandchildren: Amelia, Beau, Baylor, Eva, Jack, Ethan, Vivian and Audrey, all of whom loved and admired their Nana. Always deeply religious, she was also in her younger years a gifted cook, decorator, and lover of the arts; she was an avid reader of literature. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the Funeral Mass at Saint Joseph Abbey Church at 2:00 PM on December 27, 2017; visitation will be held at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington on December 27, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
