Joy St. Pierre Perreand's Obituary
On October 31, 1928, Joy was proudly born to Nicholas and Elmire Trosclair St. Pierre and later became the sister to Ronald St. Pierre. She grew to be a loving beautiful women. Her proudest moments were becoming mother to Deborah Perreand Hackney, Denise Perreand Shepard and Albert Nicholas Perreand.
She was also the beloved grandmother of Joy Elizabeth Shepard, Julie Shepard Landry, David Nicholas Hackney, Daniel Colin Hackney and Darah Hackney Robbins. God granted her a wonderful wish to meet two great grandchildren, Paige Isabella Landry and David Abraham Hackney.
Joy came from a large, close family with lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Joy worked as an office manager for Dr. Johnette Mayer and Dr. Robert deBloisblanc. Later in life she became a member of several organizations including Mandeville Senior Center and Young At Heart.
Joy will be missed by many, she was loved by many and she will be remembered by even more!
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W.21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time.
