Joseph Anthony Ziegler Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph Anthony Ziegler, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 54 years to Helena Naquin Ziegler. Loving father Joey A. Ziegler, Jr. ( Sherri Ziegler), Desiree Ziegler Brooks (Ricky Brooks), Darlene Atwood, George Duxworth, David Duxworth, Bonnie Duxworth and Sharon Cambas (David). Son of the late Mildred Morello Boihem (Ozzie) and Erwin Ziegler. Brother of Fay Ann Durnin and the late Erwin Ziegler, Jr. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ziegler was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Covington where he was a Master Diesel Mechanic for Operating Engineers Local 406.
Relatives, friends, members of IBEW Local 130 and Operating Engineers Local 406 are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be private.
