So sorry to hear of this. Your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
I remember when I was sick with cancer when I was three. My pawpaw was always there. But one memory I have during this was when I was sitting on the floor in my kitchen with him and my dad beside me. They were trying to give me my medicine to help me feel better. Of course, I didn't want to take it (tasted gross). So they both sat there next to me for about 30 minutes doing whatever they could to get me to take it. This was the day when I discovered my pawpaw had false teeth. As I was sitting on the floor, I ordered for them to make funny faces if they wanted me to take my medicine. Then I turn around and my pawpaw has his false teeth sticking half way out of his mouth!!! I was fascinated. Ever since then, I would ask for him to take them out, and he would. Pretty sure my pawpaw saved my life by helping me take my medicine that day. Glad I was there to help him in his last days like he helped me. Je t'aime beaucoup mon cher pawpaw. Je vous verrai plus tard. <3
