Joseph Francis Deynoodt, Jr, 84yrs old, of New Orleans, LA, resided in Covington, LA passed away on March 15, 2017. Joseph Francis Deynoodt, Jr. was born in New Orleans, LA to Emma Montagnet and Joseph Francis Deynoodt, Sr.on March 19, 1932. He married Carolyn Bodet on April 21,1956 in New Orleans, LA. He graduated from St. Stanislaus, Warren Easton and attended Tulane University. He was a retired Sentry Insurance employee. He was a Naval Reservist, a member of The Society of the War of 1812 and a member of Olympians Organization. He enjoyed golf, traveling and sharing time with his extended family. He was a loving husband and always devoted to his entire family and friends.

Deynoodt, III, Donna Deynoodt Orcutt (James), Adrien M. Deynoodt , Sisters Dianne Deynoodt Daigle, Dawn Deynoodt Smith (Robert), Patricia S. Deynoodt: Grandchildren Patrick Deynoodt, Heather Deynoodt, Morgan Deynoodt, John, Jaclyn, Jenna Scholvin, Christopher and Camron Mouledous, Ashton Orcutt, Andrew Orcutt, Andree Orcutt, Dylan Deynoodt, Courtney Deynoodt Great-Grandchild, Liam Deynoodt.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him
Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass will be held 11am-12pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St. Metairie, LA with Reverend Horace L. Brignac, RSCT officiating with a visitation at church beginning at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow in St. Louis #3 Cemetery, Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA.
