Joseph T. Caire's Obituary
Joseph Troxler Caire (J.T.) (Joe), age 78, a resident of Covington for 16 years, formerly of Metairie, and a native of New Orleans, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 130 for 55 years and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by daughter Sheree Caire Westerhaus, son-in-law Mark Westerhaus, granddaughter Kaitlyn Adele Westerhaus, grandsons Grant Joseph Westerhaus and Lane Jordan Westerhaus, all of Baton Rouge, a brother, Edward Joseph Caire of Metairie, niece Carol Gipson Geiger of Michigan, nephews and cousins.
His life was made happier by friend Judy Shannon and her family who he thought of as his own.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ernestine Clegg Caire, parents, Robert Lidell Caire and Laura Mae Troxler Caire and sister Mildred Caire Gipson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 16th at 11 a.m. at the chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA. 70433. Reverend Ken Carroll will officiate.
Visitation will be on Monday Nov. 16th from 9 a.m. until the service with internment in Hopewell Cemetery in Crystal Springs, Miss. at 3:00 PM.
