Johnny Lee Barland, Jr., age 83 of Covington, LA peacefully passed on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Christwood Retirement Community.
Born, Friday, September 24, 1937 in Port Gibson, MS to Johnny Lee Barland, Sr. and Ivy Ida Barland.
Survived by his Wife - Barbara Burroughs DeCuir Barland and her 4 children Stephen DeCuir, Joseph DeCuir, Donna Morabito, Juliann Gravolet and their spouses, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his only surviving sibling Evaline Barland Myatt along with12 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Father - Johnny Lee Barland, Sr., Mother - Ivy Ida Barland, Sisters Laverne Barland Riley, Christine Barland Ragusa and Mary Barland Arceneaux.
He is best remembered for his love of bridge and being an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Johnny will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Graveside services will be private in Port Gibson, MS.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA and Wounded Warriors.
