John “Jack” Winkelman III passed away at home on May 6, 2009 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Linda Nichol Winkelman of Covington, LA. Father of John Winkelman & Kurt Winkelman of MI; Stepfather to Tracy Cropsey of MI, Lucinda Weisenfelder of MO, Christina Gearhart of OH & Nathan Parrish of MI. Son of the late Bernice Newbre Winkelman and John Winkelman II of MI. Brother of Virginia McHale Hokenstrom of Litchfield, NH, and of the late Marilyn Winkelman Dickinson & Richard McHale. Grandfather of Rylee Ann Winkelman born February 6, 2009. Jack was the owner of J W Repair Services. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on June 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM at First Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to The American Cancer Society.
