I sure will miss my Uncle AJ. Some people think what you have while on this earth makes you important. Not the case. When you pass you can tell how a person lived their life by the amount of people who show up to pay their last respects. I have never seen so many hundreds of people at a funeral in my 51 years. That says what his family already knew about him. He was a genuinely great man. I sure will miss our silly talks and finding out all the news.
A.J. was a good friend to me and my family. He was one of a kind. His obituary was a true picture of his life. I’m sorry that my recent health problems prevented me from attending his services.

Don Saucier, owner of previous Green Valley Orchids has the highest regards for A.J. Rain, shine, freezing cold, middle of the night he would come out to repair the greenhouse heaters. Could not have made it without his help. For me and many others this is quite a loss. God bless his family.
I am so saddened to hear that a dear friend of mine has left this world. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. I know this is hard on them, to lose such a mainstay of their family.
Yes, he lived and breathed politics. Long time Sheriff, George Broom, told me to contact A.J. He told me that if he had his choice of anybody to help in his campaigns, it would be A.J. Willie. Man, was he right. I felt like his adopted son, spending so much time with A.J. during my campaign for judgeship. He wore me out introducing me to so many people. .
A.J. is much loved by so many people in our parish. His loss is our loss.

My dearest Willie family, my heart grieves deeply over the loss of Hollywood a.k.a. Mr. AJ period I will forever cherish and miss the days of having coffee and constantly joking with each other. I pray for strength for each of you during this time of loss of such a patriarch and just an all-around wonderful man. I will never see a peacock the same again.
