John Erik Trygg's Obituary
John Erik Trygg, beloved husband of Cynthia Boscareno Trygg, passed away at his home in Madisonville, Louisiana on March 14, 2018. Born April 24, 1948 to the late John Elton Trygg and Neva Melton Trygg. Cherished brother of Jean Trygg Commander (Gary), he is also survived by a host of loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by his sisters Kathleen Trygg Welsh (Jim) and Christine "Tina" Trygg, and brother George Andrew Trygg (Kathleen). John was a dedicated teacher, having retired from the St Tammany Parish School system after many years of service. He was an avid sailor, musician, song writer, artist and comic relief to many, enjoying life and his retirement to the fullest.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery, Hwy 21 just north of the Madisonville city limits, in Madisonville, LA on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, 140 Jackson Ave. Mandeville, LA 70448. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Heart Association or the Humane Society.
