LOVE, LETA
I was so sorry to read in the newspaper that John had passed away. I first met, and worked with John, in the early 1970's at the Executive Towers and later at Canal Place. He was a pleasure to work with, and had such pride in his family. He showed us many family photo's and displayed them on his desk. My husband Henry and I wish to express our sympathy at this time of your loss.

I worked with John Stahel in New Orleans and Birmingham for a number of years. I first met John in the mid-70s. I always had the deepest respect for John and enjoyed working with him. He was a unique and kind person. I was deeply shocked to learn that he had passed away. I wish his family well through this sad time.
My thoughts are with you. I worked with John for many years. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him.
John was not only my friend, but someone whose approach to life I truly admired. All of my best wishes.
