Meeting Schmidtie only twice was enough for me to know he was good people as is the whole crew back there, Debbie had warned me of you all and once I had the pleasure of meeting everyone I felt like part of the crew and thankful you accepted me and for that I felt close to Schmidtie and must say I will miss him and will always remember this last April when Debz and I were there for for French Quarter Fest and at The Oggs for the gathering, I was watching the grill and Schmidtie took over and when he was cutting the meat someone asked him why are you cutting it that way and he replied,
"Everyone gets a chunk of meat" even thought Cathy didn't agree to the size of the chucks it was FUNNY....! Rest in Peace Brother....you will be missed...!
Jeanne my heart goes out to you, Johnny, Heidi, and those beautiful grandchildren. John was my boss and friend. He taught me so much. I will never forget his smile!
