John Paul “J.P.” Sharp, Sr. passed away on Friday, April. 18, 2008.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Kathy Lemons Sharp; father of Nicole A. Sharp, John Paul Sharp, Jr. and his wife Laura, Patrick R. Sharp and his wife Mandy, Katie S. McIntosh and her husband James D., and Andrew M. Sharp; grandfather to Brittany, Jackson and Rayburn Sharp, Reese McIntosh and two special angels; brother to Nora Cleland and Jeanette Thompson. He is the son of Rebecca Jenkins Sharp and the late Ottis Sharp.
Age 57 years, A native and lifetime resident of Covington, LA. He retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Tuesday will begin at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery.
