John Edward Nelson Jr., age 90 of Bush, LA died on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at his residence. He was born, June 11, 1929 in Chanute, KS to John Edward Nelson, Sr. and Mable Nelson.
Survived by his Daughters: Ana Beatty, Judi Nelson Swingen, Yvonne E. MacNeil and daughter-in-law Roni G. Nelson, 10 Grandchildren: Robert S. Beatty, John E Nelson IV, Jason Nelson, Rebecca Nelson Hupman, Rachel Nelson, Adam MacNeil, April MacNeil, Erin Acevedo, Jorli Swingen, and Tia Swingen Starr, 5 Great Grandchildren: Nova Starr, Aiden Starr, Dakota Starr, Grayson McNeely, and Apollo MacNeil. Siblings: Milton Nelson, Walter Nelson, Fred Nelson.
He was predeceased by his Wife, Neria and Son, John Edward Nelson, III.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 08, 2019 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Fellowship to follow at the American Legion.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
