John Charles Markey passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. He was born May 21, 1936 in New Orleans to the late John A. and Bessie Gonzales Markey and was a resident of Covington.
The beloved husband of Janet Bischone Markey, he is survived by two sons, Robert A. and John C. Markey, Jr.; his daughter, Ann Markey Walters and one sister, Patricia M. Retif. He was preceded in death by one sister, Bessie M. Boucheaux.
Private family services were entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA.
