John Ronald Kluchin's Obituary
John Ronald Kluchin, born May 6, 1930, passed away peacefully with his children and grandchildren at his side on August 15, 2018 at the age of 88.
He was the son of the late Joseph S. Kluchin, Sr. and the late Pauline Drendul Kluchin. John is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years Ernee Authement Kluchin and his brother Joseph S. Kluchin, Jr. He was a loving father to Ronald John Kluchin M.D. (Susan), Kathy Kluchin Barrois (Dennis), Laure Kluchin Rouse, and Karen Kluchin-Song. Grandfather to Allison Lloyd Park (Eric), Nicole Kluchin, Stacey Barrois, Timothy Rouse II, and Brittany Rouse Laiche. Great-grandfather to Joseph Landry, Jr., and soon-to-be baby Laiche. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a long time native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA since 2006. He was a retired attorney, served in the Army in the Korean War, and was the lead trumpet player in the New Orleans big band called The Southerners. He will be sadly missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass & Services on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
