John Harvey Hulin's Obituary
John Harvey Hulin passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. A resident of Talisheek, LA since 1955, he was born October 10, 1935 in Erath, LA to the late Avery Joseph and Nelius Preimeaux Hulin.
The beloved husband of Geraldine Leonard Hulin for 40 years, he is survived by his daughter, Theresa Hulin Trahan (Dru); two sons, Gerald Avery Hulin (Christine) and Don H. Hulin (Holly); one brother-in-law, Eugene Moss, for whom he had great respect; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Melissa Hulin; two sisters, Dossie Mae Moss and Joyce Landry and two brothers, Lester and Roland Hulin.
Harvey loved camping with his family and was a dedicated husband, father, brother and friend. For over 30 years, he worked at the A&P Grocery in Covington and for the same number of years drove a School bus. He was also a former President of the Bus Driver’s Association of St. Tammany Parish.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow services.
