We are very shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of John. We are neighbors, and I would see him working in the yard all the time when sitting on my porch. I wish I had told him how much it meant to me that he and Susan were so kind to our son when he was getting on his feet, and John helped him with great wisdom and advice. Susan and Family, I was fortunate enough to consider John, a life-long friend. I met John while he was attending St. Peter's, I was the new kid on the block having moved from Mandeville. Our family lived a block away from St. Peter's. We both attended St. Paul's and graduated together in 1969. John was always affable and nice to be around. I have very fond memories of John and his loving family. God bless John and the Felker family.
