John Edward Ehrlich's Obituary
John Edward Ehrlich passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home in Folsom, LA. He was born to the late Aurelia Eleanor Ehrlich on June 20, 1936 in San Francisco, CA and adopted by the late Attilio Charles Rossi.
John was married to his wife, Vesta “Lucy” Burke Ehrlich, for 61 years. He was the father of Suzette E. Harang (Michael), Cherie E. White (Cliff), and Charlotte E. Montalbano (Daniel). John was the grandfather of Matthew and Tyler Harang, Rachael and Julia White, Wyatt and Ivan Montalbano; great-grandfather of Emmett and Elijah Montalbano. He was the brother of Lawrence Rossi (Sharyn).
John served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a loving husband and father. He believed in the Lord. He was grateful and thankful for a full and blessed life. He believed in compassion for others. John left his legacy in his daughters and a very deep love of his wife, Lucy, and the beautiful life they built together.
We will miss you. Farewell for a season until we meet again.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
