John Edward Cleland went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Revere Cleland. Father of Kathy C. Joiner, Bruce E. Cleland, Linda C. Ostendorf, Brenda C. Malley, Dodie Clouse, and the late Ralph R. Cleland. Brother of Herbert Cleland, Chris Cleland, and the late Leo Cleland, Ellis Cleland Rosa C. Fauntleroy, and Hazel C. Fauntleroy. Grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren Age 94 years; a native of Waldheim, LA and a lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be in the Cleland Cemetery, Waldheim, LA.
