Steve Nichols
I worked for John Caulking when I was assigned to the III Corps & Fort Hood Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. He was the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate and I was the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Legal Assistance. John Caulking was not only a great leader and manager, he had a great wit, was generous with his time, and one of the brigtest men I have every known. I did not no that he had passed away until I found his profile on Facebook. I was shocked by his passing. I shall never forget his wisdom, devotion to duty and country, or the brilliance that he demonstrated many times. May God bless his soul and his family.
