Hi Kelly, I was the receptionist for Carl Cleveland.
Please accept my deepest condolences on the transition of Johnny. He was a dear person. I will always hold in my heart the car ride to and from a visit to Carl. Forget the part where I was freezing! We talked the whole way there and back and I got to know him better. During our visit with Carl, we smoked cigars because it was a special occasion.
Besides prayers for Johnny, I am going to honor him by smoking a cigar because it is a special occasion for him.

John was my football coach at Chalmette High School during the 1967 football season. He came to our school from Jesuit High School. My memories of John are all fond. He was a man with a nice sense of humor and truly cared about the boys he coached. He taught me so much about football and how to conduct myself. His perpetual smile will remain in my memory forever. May he rest in peace.
