John Allen Burden's Obituary
John A. Burden passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Susanne Treadway Burden. Loving father of Janine Burden Buckley, John Allen Burden II and Stephanie Burden Banchs. Grandfather of Jason Paul Buckley II and Joseph Reeves Buckley. Also survived by nieces and nephews he held dear to his heart.
Mr. Burden was U.S. Navy Retired and continued serving his country by working for the Department of Defense until he retired in 2006.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of to be made to the St. Tammany Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
