John Sebastian Breaux's Obituary
Mr. John Sebastian Breaux entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born on October 5, 1932 to the late Clifton Anthony Breaux and Eva Edwardeen Ruth Breaux of New Orleans. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Talley Breaux. Beloved father of John, Jr., Chris (wife Rhonda), Barry (wife Melinda) and Kenny (wife Toni) Breaux. Beloved brother of Clifton Breaux, Jr. and twin Edward Breaux (wife Evelyn). Beloved grandfather of Megan Fussell (husband Will), Christopher, Jr., Gavin, Macie, Kenny, Jr., and Eric Breaux. Loving great grandfather of Molly, the beloved late Taylor, Castin and Kylie. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of Loyola University. He was passionate in his work and stood out among the best as an independent custom home designer and builder for 30 years. His dedication to his family was paramount. John touched many lives through his care and selflessness toward others, and his quaint sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Friday beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Breaux to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate. E.J.
