John A. Blow's Obituary
John A. Blow on Saturday, November 3, 2007. He was born March 26, 1918 to the late John and Mary Chadwick Blow and was a life long resident of Covington.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Marie Jarrell Blow; five daughters: Joyce McKee (Buck), Peggy Williams (Cecil), Betty Strain (Bill), Carol Rodriguez (Richard) and Cathy Richardson (Pete); three sons: Clarence Blow (Elaine), Earl Stanley Blow (Belle) and John David Blow (Brenda) and one sister, Eunice B. Wager. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren all of whom dearly loved and respected their “Paw-Paw”. He was preceded in death by his son Roy James Blow; three sisters: Mae Cannon, Ollie McLain and Susie Thompson; five brothers: Bill and Gus Cox, Julius, Ezra, Edward Blow and two grandchildren.
John was a long time employee of Pechon Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed hunting and received many trophies as a result of his fishing skills. He also was an avid gardener, sharing his produce freely with family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W.21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at the Fussell Cemetery.
