John Bert Berzas' Obituary
John Bert Berzas passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at his home in
Covington, LA. He was born on July 16, 1933 in Chataignier, LA to the late Darius Berzas and Celezie Jeanise Berzas.
John was the loving father of Charlotte B. Glass (the late Melvin Glass) and the late Wayne Berzas. He was the proud grandfather of Stephanie Mathies, Wendy Levy, and Laurie Mathies, and great-grandfather of John Berzas, Alex Levy, Caden Culotta, and Valencia Miller. John was the brother of the late Carol Berzas and Gene Berzas. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Liturgy of the Word at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM. A WAKE will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. VISITATION on Wednesday will be from 9:00 AM until service time.
