Joan Irene Coyne Sharp's Obituary
Joan Irene Coyne Sharp, a lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish, passed away 16 December 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Alvin Sharp and the mother of Deborah Murphy (Dan), Pam Sharp, Sandra Hall (David) and Glenn Sharp.
Born 03 June 1942 she was the daughter of Jacob Coyne and Ethel Byers Coyne. She is survived by brothers - Jerry Coyne, Johnny Coyne, Michael Coyne, Gregory Coyne; sisters - Mary Ann Gallington, Diane Edwards and predeceased by sister - Euleane Spell.
Joanie was the sunshine to 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was full of grace and kindness. She devoted her life to her family and they will miss her unwavering love and tender touch. She brought immense joy to them and all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
Interment at the Bruhl family cemetery in Folsom will immediately follow services.
