I first met Mrs. Brenda (my mother-in-law) in 2011. Although my entrance was a bit rocky resulting in a broken teacup, but no broken bones (Thank goodness.), she welcomed me into the family with open arms. Since then, I have enjoyed and cherished the presence and love of this wonderful woman. She is so smart, always working her brain through reading or crosswords. Our teatime moments were often full of conversation and laughs. A very caring and thoughtful woman, no one's birthday or anniversary passed without a card or some type of gift or recognition of their special day. As a family, we also have had many adventures together including a trip to England to meet some of her family that lived there, a Cruise to the Caribbean, road trips to Texas to see the Polish Festival in Houston, Georgia to see the German town of Helen, and to Florida to see the beautiful beaches of Navarre. She had a love for travel and exploration just as do. She also welcomed my children, now her grandchildren into her life without hesitation. She was devout Christian and a loving devoted mother to my husband, David and her son, Glenn. She will be forever missed by them as well as my daughters and me. Until we meet again, we will always love you and miss you Mum a.k.a. Nanna.
