Joan Carite's Obituary
Joan Sundmaker Carite a retired Twenty-Second Judicial District Minute Clerk, for twenty-seven years, passed away peacefully in her home in Mandeville, Louisiana on Friday, July 25, 2008. She was sixty-nine.
Ms. Carite was born in New Orleans and lived in Mandeville for forty years. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Alter Society.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth R. Carite, Sr. Survivors include her mother Helen C. Sundmaker; her brother Earl F. Sundmaker, Jr., her sister Pamela S. Peters; her son Kenneth R. Carite, Jr., two daughters, Karen C. Jenkins, Kelly C. Boyd and seven grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be said on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., on Monday, July 28, 2008 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433 and on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A. M. at the church.
Interment will be in the Mandeville cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Our Lady of the Lake.
